Homo Erectus Key Capabilities for Survival

Homo Erectus had a few key capabilities that helped this species to survive 1.8 million to 200,000 B.C.E.
One important key capability was they were good walkers and runners. Their bones were very strong. So they could migrate out of the Africa. They can have lots of lands to live and if somewhere is danger they can quickly escape from the another country.  Another important key capability was they were tool makers. They has a large brain so they can invent more complex tools and they are intelligent. For example axes made of stones. They create shelters with tools. The next key capability was they used fire to survive. There was no caves to provide natural shelters. So they control the fire helped them to keep warm and protect themselves against the animals so they can survive longer than the early hominids.
